Grayson Threatens Changes For Yeovil.
|"Not enough players were playing to the best of their ability.' - Simon Grayson.|
Preston take on Yeovil Town at Deepdale and Grayson knows that to keep the challenge for promotion going then a win is important.
Especially after the team that was pit on last Friday night could only manage a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient and played well below their capabilities.
Grayson had to admit that not all his players gave everything in the game on Friday, and this will mean that changes will be made, there is only a few players who's place will be safe.
Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, Grayson said: "There were many aspects of our play against Orient which didn`t meet the standards we set for the players.
"I don`t want to paper over the cracks, I will be honest with people by saying our assessment of the game was that not enough players were playing to the best of their ability.'
Grayson also pointed out that the squad did a lot of work on the training field in preparation for the Orient game, but it all seemed to go out of the window when they took to the field.
He continued: "I can put a team out and plan how to play but individuals then have to go on the pitch and made decisions, run through a brick wall, pass with a purpose.
"There will definitely be players who were out of the side and squad on Friday, knocking on the door and thinking they have a good chance of going back into the team."
