Grayson On Garner Situation

Grayson On Garner Situation
Preston North End boss Simon Grayson says that there is no set date for the return of top scorer Joe Garner to the team.
"The likelihood is that he will be back some time before the end of the season.' - Simon Grayson.

The best Grayson is expecting at the moment is that he could be back before the end of the season, but he is geared up should news be band and the player will be out for the rest of the season.

Garner has been out of action since suffering a detached tendon at the end of November, he went under the knife and early signs were that he would be back in action in around three to four months.

Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, Grayson said: "Joe is making good progress but I said a few weeks ago that I will rule him out for the rest of the season because any time he comes back before then can be seen as a bonus for us.

"If I told everyone that I expected him to come back next week and it is then a couple of months, then we are all going to be disappointed.

"The likelihood is that he will be back some time before the end of the season.'

I wouldn't like to see him rushed back and then end up even worse. Lets just wait
