Vital Report - Brighton 0-0 Preston
Preston's Championship season continued with a draw at Amex Stadium against Brighton on Saturday.
A midweek win was built on with Preston coming away from league leaders Brighton with a point in a nil-nil draw, which will suit PNE much more than it would the hosts on the afternoon for sure!

The good record Preston have at Brighton was maintained as, despite having the better of the first half chances when Baldock threatened and Pickford saved to deny Murphy from a freekick, the first half was seen out without much incident.
Preston might have even gone into the break one-up but Cardiff loanee Doyle saw his header from a Gallagher cross, saved by Brighton 'keeper Stockdale.
Chances were even fewer in the second half but again it was Preston who had the better one with Garner, returning after his latest suspension, seeing his header cleared off the line.

Coming away from the Amex Stadium with something was the aim and, given the recent record hopes of this were high, with this goalless draw extending the Preston run at Brighton to just the one defeat, with four-matches won, in the last nine meetings with the Seagulls.
