Vital Report - Preston 1-1 Bristol City
Preston's Championship season continued with a draw at Deepdale against Bristol City on Tuesday.
A lead, given to Preston by Kilkenny in the second half, wasn't something Preston could hold onto with Bristol City securing a one-one draw when Wilbraham pegged PNE back late on to see the points shared, however we still move up the table a little whereas the League 1 Champions from last season dropped into the bottom three.

Bristol City threatened the lead with Freeman forcing Sunderland loanee 'keeper Pickford into a couple of saves, however Preston were also denied the opener when Garner blasted against the crossbar from 30-yards!
An effort from distance, early in the second half, from Kilkenny (51) against his former side was on target and did end up in the back of the net as Preston made the breakthrough.
When Pickford kept out another Bristol City chance, denying Wilbraham, it looked as though Preston might collect all three-points but the Robins weren't going to be denied with Wilbraham (81) finally being the man to beat Pickford as he headed home from a Bryan cross to make it one-one.
Bristol City could have gone onto win it in the end with Bryan, Agard and Freeman, who should have scored from close range, all wasted chances much to our relief!
Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most in this one-all draw?
