Leyton Orient 0-2 Preston North End
Preston made it seven wins on the trot on Tuesday when we won at Leyton Orient to move up into second place in the league 1 table.
A goal in either half was enough for us to come away from the Matchroom Stadium with a 2-0 win and move to within a couple of points of league leaders Bristol City.
Chris Humphrey's cross was inviting for Aston Villa loanee Callum Robinson (19) and he made no mistake as he slid in to met this and put us one-nil up early on.
Leyton Orient's new Italian boss Mauro Milanese was almost celebrating an equaliser but our former Orient 'keeper Jamie Jones was at his best just before half time when he pulled off a double save.
Jobi McAnuff put in Jay Simpson but Jones saved with Gianvito Plasmati following up but again Jones brilliantly denied him again.
Orient didn't really put us under too much pressure in the second half with us making sure of the point 15-minutes from time.
Gary Woods came for a freekick, before changing his mind and that allowed Tom Clarke to put the ball back into a crowded penalty area with Paul Huntington (75) touching home his second goal in recent games, having failed to score for so long previously to wrap up a two-nil win.
