North End

Referee:

Preston were denied by the crossbar no fewer than four times on Tuesday, with Gillingham also striking the frame of the goal and having chances, but it didn't matter in the end as we won again.

A 1-0 win at Priestfield extended our unbeaten run.

The lead was denied us when Joe Garner's header hit the crossbar before Paul Huntington headed us ahead, a first goal since way back in December 2013.

Jack King and Callum Robinson both saw efforts strike the as we sought more goals and then for a fourth time the frame denied us when Paul Gallagher this time struck the bar.

Gillingham would be denied by the crossbar too with Brennan Dickenson hitting this from 20-yards with Jamie Jones also called into action to keep out Danny Kedwell and Cody McDonald, while Gallagher cleared a header from John Egan off the line to ensure we got the one-nil win.
