Referee:

An important three-points were secured by Preston at the weekend as our promotion push started to gain momentum again.

Coventry have enjoyed life back at the Ricoh Arena since returning to their home earlier this season but it was Preston that came away with the points at the weekend with a 2-0 win on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half Tom Clarke (62) side footed home a freekick to put us one-up just past the hour mark.

The captain's goal was swiftly given a chance to be doubled when Seb Hines brought down Joe Garner in the box. Garner (67) picked himself up to, as he often does, convert from the spot to make it two-nil.

We could have added more, but two was enough as we returned home with a two-nil win.
