Colchester United vs. Preston North End

The Weston Homes Community Stadium

PREVIEW: U's vs Lilywhites

North End travel to Essex to face a Colchester United side who are currently sitting in 15th place in the League, and have picked up two wins in five games and only one loss.

Preston faced MK Dons in midweek and put in a fairly reasonable performance, but they couldnt quite find the finishing touch to prevent it from being a 0-0 draw; they'll be looking to be more lethal in front of goal as they face Joe Dunne's side next.

When Colchester faced the Lilywhites earlier on in the season at Deepdale, it ended up in both teams sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Garner and Garbutt scoring for either sides.

Vital Quotes:

Grayson: "With the chances we have been creating, someone is going to suffer somewhere down the line and hopefully that`s very soon.'

"It has probably been the story of a number of our games this season, we`ve created a lot of chances, missed some opportunities throughout the team. That`s part and parcel of football and somewhere over the next few weeks we want to turn those draws into wins."

Colchester United Team News:

Colchester will be without former Arsenal winger Sanchez Watt after being sent off in the U's previous fixture against Swindon.

Joe Dunne has no other worries when selecting his team.

Player to watch: Sam Walker

Sam Walker in the Colchester goal at Deepdale in the reverse fixture was the only thing preventing North End from getting three points; will he be in the same form as he was from that fixture in November?

Preston North End Team News:

Grayson will be hoping Craig Davies is fit after missing out in their previous fixture on Tuesday night at Stadium MK due to a slight hamstring problem.

Player to watch: Davies or Garner

Davies or Garner will be hoping they can start getting back to scoring ways if they start for this clash, after Garner failed to apply that finishing touch for Preston in midweek.
