Grimshaw's Preston Contract Cancelled
Liam Grimshaw has left Preston after the former Manchester United came to an agreement to cancel his contract.
Secured from Man United in January 2016, injury prevented Grimshaw from featuring for Preston for the remainder of the 2015-16 season; having to wait until the following campaign to make his North End debut.
Grimshaw found himself in then-boss Simon Grayson's starting XI to start the 2016-17 campaign but ended it away from Deepdale on loan at Chesterfield.
He did feature in the League Cup defeat at Accrington but Grimshaw's chances would have been limited under Alex Neil with a mutual agreement seeing his contract cancelled ahead of the closure of the transfer window.
This decision to become a free agent will mean Grimshaw can find a new club outside of the transfer window.
