Norwich's Rudd Keen On Deepdale Return
According to Read Norwich, Declan Rudd is hopeful of securing a return to Preston.
Having previously spent two temporary spells at Preston, Rudd, loaned to Charlton last season, is considering his Norwich future following the arrival of Angus Gunn from Manchester City.
Gunn's a name that should sound familiar to those of you from my generation, Angus is the son of legendary ex-Norwich and Scotland international goalkeeper Bryan.
The release of England's John Ruddy could have improved Rudd's first team chances at Carrow Road but the swift loan arrival of Gunn means the long serving Norwich keeper would be involved in a three-way battle with Gunn and Northern Irishman Michael McGovern.
After 18 years at Norwich, Rudd has reportedly decided it's time to seek pastures new and he wishes this to result in a third (and permanent) spell at Preston with Simon Grayson looking to accommodate him - it'll come down to the agreement of a fee.
