Browne Handed Ireland Call
Alan Browne become the latest of Preston's Republic of Ireland contingent when he was called into Martin O'Neill's squad for the upcoming games - he joins on-loan Aiden McGeady, Daryl Horgan and Andy Boyle in the squad.
Cork-born Browne, who was joined by West Ham's Declan Rice in getting called into the squad, will hope to make his senior debut having previously played for the Republic of Ireland at U21 level.
Browne was drafted into O'Neill's squad on Monday with West Ham's Rice, 18, handed his call up the following day, which came just a matter of days after he made his Premier League debut for the Hammers against Burnley.
Ireland face Mexico in New Jersey on 1st June before Uruguay come to Dublin three days later. If Browne, 22, is to make his Republic debut you feel it'll come in one of these two friendlies? The table-topping Irish then have a World Cup qualifier against Austria on 11th June.
