Team News: Preston v Shrewsbury

It's cup action for Preston on Tuesday as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy gets underway for another season.

Preston, if we're honest, wouldn't have the JPT as a priority this season but we would still sooner avoid an upset defeat against league 2 outfit Shrewsbury Town at Deepdale tonight.

Simon Grayson will make changes, some are informed due to international call-up. Bailey Wright (Australia), Chris Humphrey (Jamaica) and Scott Wiseman (Gibraltar) are all away on international duty.

A debut could come for Kyel Reid (knee) after he made his comeback in some recent reserve games with Paul Huntington also appearing for the first time perhaps but Lee Holmes (chest) is out.

Shrewsbury could have Dave McAllister (ankle) back after summer surgery. Liam Lawrence (suspension) is out after his sending off at Northampton Town with Mark Ellis (knee) is an option though.
