'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It Should've Been Game Over

Preston had to make do with a 1-1 draw against Coventry on Saturday afternoon, with the visitors securing a last gaps leveller in the game at Deepdale.

Simon Grayson was left frustrated that Coventry drew level in injury time as he felt that too much of this was added by Kevin Wright as four-minutes were signalled but it was the sixth-minute when they scored.

The Lilywhites boss said: 'They've scored a goal after playing 96 minutes.

'There were four minutes of time added on, but the referee says he's given the extra two minutes for the substitutions.

'The extra seconds have cost us two points and there were a few strange refereeing decisions throughout the game.'

Grayson was also frustrated by the decision to show Kevin Davies a straight red card, which came just before the 90-minutes was up. He feels it looks worse than it was, and even said that his opposite number Steven Pressley thought it was harsh.

Davies had opened the scoring before Moussa struck a beauty to give Coventry the draw, Grayson didn't think they deserved it but took a little solace in the fact that it was a "worldy" to denied Preston the win.
