Pre-Season Ban For Striker

Common sense has prevailed, in the eyes of Preston boss Simon Grayson.

Joe Garner was sent off in the weekend game against Fleetwood and Grayson was concerned that the striker might have to sit out a ban when the League One season kicked off.

However, it's been decided that he'll have to sit out the pre-season game with Blackburn instead.

Grayson felt that a yellow card should have been shown and he informed that the striker had to be taken off, as is ordinarily the norm in a friendly when a player would have usually been sent off.
