Former PNE Boss Gets Top United Job

When David Moyes was manager at Preston would many have believed that he would have ended up being Manchester United boss?

Those previously involved at Preston, where Moyes was manager from 1998-2002, have said that they did.

Having been confirmed as Sir Alex Ferguson's replacement on Thursday, with Ferguson opting to retire, the rise that Moyes has achieved since his days at Deepdale has been partly fulfilled.

However, he'll now be hell-bent on making himself a success at Old Trafford as he had Deepdale and Goodison Park with Everton and I'd not back against him.
