New Deal Likely For German

Thorsten Stuckmann is out of contract this summer, but a new contract is looking like it'll be there for him.

Simon Grayson, as he told The Lancashire Evening Telegraph, is keen to get the goalkeeping situation "sorted out" quickly and the German will be approached about a new deal soon.

Grayson said: 'Thorsten is out of contract at the end of the season and that is probably something we are looking to tie down, as well as getting one or two other contracts done quickly.'

Stuckmann has played more than enough games this season, and shown enough ability, to warrant a new deal with Preston with it probably just more of a case of if he'll sign the contract and not if he'll be offered one.
