Preston Beaten By Last Ditch Penalty

Preston Beaten By Last Ditch Penalty

Brentford 1-0 Preston
16th March 2013
15:00
Griffin Park

Preston looked on course to maintain an unbeaten start to Simon Grayson's managerial reign until a late, late Brentford winner at Griffin Park on Saturday.

Plenty of first half chances came for Brentford, had it not been for Declan Rudd in the Preston goal and one goal line clearance the hosts could have been out of sight by the break!

A couple of chances came and went for Preston, however Brentford continued to have plenty of second half chances with Rudd again saving.

Deep into injury-time Brentford got the chance to finally get the win they probably deserved when John Mousinho brought down Sam Saunders. Saunders (90+4) picked himself up to successfully convert from the spot to give The Bees a 1-0 win.
