Grayson Starts With A Point

Swindon 1-1 Preston
23rd February 2013
15:00
County Ground

Simon Grayson's first goal in charge of Preston ended with them drawing at managerless, but promotion chasing, Swindon on Saturday.

There wasn't much to write home about after the first half, however Preston would have been happy at the scoreless nature of this.

Within minutes of the restart Preston were ahead when Will Hayhurst (51) scored.

Had it not been for a poor defensive error, which let Adam Rooney (75) in within minutes of his arrival as a substitute to equalise, then the new Lilywhites boss would have got off to a winning start. A 1-1 draw at the title chasers wasn't a bad return mind!
