Grayson The Early Favourite

The early favourite with the bookies for the Preston job has emerged as Simon Grayson.

Geographically Preston could be a good fit for the former Blackpool, Leeds and Huddersfield boss so that could be a tick in favour of Preston landing him over other managerless clubs also linked with him, including Notts County and Oldham.

That said both of these are hardly away from a potentially preferred area are they!

Grayson was sacked by Huddersfield recently but had helped gain them promotion to the Championship last season and had enjoyed success with both Blackpool and Leeds previously so The Lilywhites could certainly do worse than appointing him.
