Keeper leaves Preston
Steve Simonsen's time with Preston has come to an end with his contract cancelled.
32-year-old Simonsen, who arrived at Deepdale as a free agent in the summer, made 16 appearances for the club but picked up an injury against Coventry earlier this month, a game which proved to be his last for the club.
The goalkeeper and club mutually agreed to end his contract so the former Sheffield United man becomes a free agent again and starts his search for another new club.
