Preston taste defeat once more

Preston 1-3 Walsall
13th January 2013
15:00
Deepdale

Preston's poor form at Deepdale continued with them beaten by in-form Walsall on Sunday afternoon.

Walsall were ahead early on when Febian Brandy (18) opened the scoring, with the lead doubled before the break when Paul Downing (38) also scored.

Victory was secured for Walsall shortly after the break when James Baxendale (56) made it three-nil.

An injury-time strike from Bailey Wright (90+2) was as good as it got for Preston with them slumping to a 3-1 defeat.
