Released winger joins league leaders

David Amoo has been deemed "surplus to requirements" by Preston but this hasn't stopped their League One rivals Tranmere from snapping him up.

With a year left on his contract the 21-year-old winger saw this terminated by mutual consent, with him quickly snapped up by the league leaders Tranmere.

Chances have been limited for the former Liverpool youngster so on that basis it's clear his future wasn't with The Lilywhites, however with him deemed good enough for the clubs title chasing rivals only time will tell if Graham Westley has made the right choice?
