Negotiating an extended Doncaster stay

A deal to extend Iain Hume's stay at Doncaster is being negotiated.

Doncaster are keen for the 29-year-old to extend his spell with them until the end of the season, or conclude a permanent deal, so talks are ongoing.

Preston's league one rivals signing the striker permanently isn't something you'd expect to see, so a loan for the remainder of the season would seem more likely?

Either way Hume, who is contracted to Doncaster on loan until January, looks as though he will continue to ply his trade away from Deepdale this season.
