'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oldham v Lilywhites

6th October 2012
15:00
Boundary Park

Both Oldham and Preston won in midweek so go into this derby looking to build on this, in Preston's case make it three wins in a row.

Jean-Yves M'voto (ankle) requires a fitness test having been forced off in midweek for Oldham. James Tarkowski remains on standby to deputise.

Robbie Simpson will be hoping for a recall to the starting XI for the hosts.

Preston have both Paul Huntington and David Buchanan doubtful, they've both been accused of "gamesmanship" having been injured in the win at Doncaster but this has been refuted by Graham Westley.

Keith Keane (suspension) can return though but Lee Trundle (knee) and Lee Holmes (gashed leg) are still out.
