Apart from the five-goals in a recent mauling of Hartlepool it's been difficult for Preston to strike too prolifically, and they have lost their last two games 3-1.
Deadline day signing Stuart Beavon, as he told the official website, isn't too worried though.
The former Wycombe striker says he'd be more worried if the chances weren't being created but feels sure that if they continue to be created then the goals will come: 'We did not have much luck in front of goal but as long as we are making the chances then it is not as much of a problem as if we were not creating any chances.
'When you are not making the chances, that is when you have a problem and when you are in trouble.'
The last of these back-to-back 3-1 defeats was in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night when Middlesbrough knocked The Lilywhites out.
Beavon now knows that this at least gives them the chance to "focus on the league" with three points targeted against Yeovil on Saturday: 'At least being knocked out of the cup allows us to focus more on the league, but it is hard to take that as a positive as progressing in the cup would have been nice.
'We play Yeovil on Saturday. We have got to take the positives out of the performance and look forward to Saturday and hopefully win the three points.'
