Back down to earth!

Walsall 3-1 Preston
22nd Sept 2012
15:00
Banks's Stadium

Yes, Preston's emphatic midweek win was soon forgotten when they came back down with a bump at Walsall on Saturday afternoon.

Joel Byrom (10) got Preston off to a dream start with an early goal but Walsall levelled shortly before the break through James Baxendale (38).

A quick fire double from George Bowerman (55 & 58), the first from the penalty spot, in the early stages of the second half saw the host come from behind to lead with them goals enough to inflict a 3-1 defeat on The Lilywhites.
