Preston dish-out a spanking!

Preston 5-0 Hartlepool

18th Sept 2012
19:45
Deepdale

Preston returned to winning ways on Tuesday night in impressive fashion against Hartlepool at Deepdale.

Two goals in a minute, just before the half hour mark, from Joel Byrom (28) and Stuart Beavon (29) saw Preston go into the break with a healthy advantage.

Shortly after the hour this advantage became even healthier, with victory virtually secured when Jack King (65) added a third.

Another couple of quick goals, two in three minutes, in the closing stages from Scott Laird (84 & 87) secured Preston a comprehensive 5-0 win.
