Another month for Sodje

Akpo Sodje's goalscoring exploits in the opening weeks of the season have done enough to earn him another short-term contract with Preston.

The 32-year-old striker signed a contract for an initial one-month having impressed in pre-season, and following four goals in six outings an extended contract with Preston has come along.

By all account the striker was hoping for a deal until the end of the season but has settled for another one-month deal for the time being.

Another impressive month for Sodje should secure him a contract for the remainder of the season, you'd think?
