'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lilywhites 1-2 Crawley

15th Sept 2012
15:00
Deepdale

Preston's impressive run was ended on Saturday when they slipped to defeat against Crawley, who recovered from defeat in their previous outing.

A goalless first half was played out at Deepdale, with all the goals coming in the second half.

By the point the hour mark had come Crawley were two-nil up with Gary Alexander (54 & 58) scoring twice in a few minutes to put the visitors in complete control.

Paul Huntington (90+1) struck in injury-time for Preston but it wasn't enough, this was just a consolation in a 2-1 defeat.
